A bit disappointing

My wife and I just returned from a weeks stay at Hotel Lomeniz (18/07/07) and I must admit that we were disappointed. We were expecting more from a 3 star hotel. For 3 days we had no hot water and were forced to shower and wash in cold water, frequent complaints made no difference. On one occasion we had no bath towels and had to wait almost one hour for a maid to deliver them, not amusing after a cold shower. The food was at times inedible and forced many people to eat out To get to the beach, you have to cross a building site and in general the area around the hotel was shabby. It should be a rule that sunbeds cannot be reserved by putting towels on in advance, most bed are reserved by 8 o'clock in the morning and on one occasion the night before. On the plus side, the pool and pool area/bar was excellent and the member of staff who served in the pool bar workd very hard all day and she is to be commended. All the staff were very helpful.
