We picked the hotel for the price and proximity to the airport. The room was ok but had some problems. Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner and fixtures more updated. The cabinets in the kitchenete smelled awful.
Fragiskos the manager was very nice and helpful. Hotel was convenient to shopping and restaurant in Ammoudara but I did not like Ammoudara and regreted not spending more and staying in Heraklion city. Shops were boring and so was the town.

I stayed at Manos during my "early-early" May vacations to Crete for 6 days and I believe my choice was superb. Great service, big rooms, big pool and Ammoudara was the perfect starting point to explore the rest of the island with a car. I agree with the previous comment that breakfast in the price is a plus since I never used the kitchenette ;)
