Stalis Hotel - Athens, Greece

I will never go back to this hotel. I do not recommend it. The staff speaks very little English. The lady behind the reception at nights did not speak a word in English. The breakfast was a JOKE! Really poor quality and very little to choose from. The guy who was at the breakfast room was, at the same time, at reception, up and down on the lift. During the the first morning, we asked him about the breakfast and how should we help ourselves. He said " wait a moment", then he disappeared into the lift and left us for the rest of the breakfast. He never came back. He was very rude and the service is very poor. The surrounding of the hotel are dangerous at night. Very dodgy people around.

Without Any Doubt I always recommed this hotel for comfirtable stay in Athens. This is closely located in Omonia and Metaxourghio metro stations. One can take redline from Syntagma central station and can reach Hotel Stalis very easily. But this is more closer to Metaxourghio metro station therefore, I suggest get down at this station. Omonia is bit far and moreover the location on the map and the place where hotel is located is not resembled. One important point I would like to mention here and this is very very important - "Hotel Stalis is safe hotel. I asked at reception - where to deposit my valuables and reception person told me in your room only. And I left my valuables at room and I was very free to move around. So if you need good price, safely and good accecibility and would like to stay in the Centre of Athens, I recommed to Choose STALIS... Thanks Enjoy...

The breakfast is very poor. It should be more variate. Also the sourrounding of the hotel is quite horrible, as all the Athens sourrounding. But in general the hotel is clean, kindly and a good relation price-quality

CLOSE TO METRO, WALKING DISTANCE TO SIGHTS. NO SHOWER CURTAIN ON SHOWER, WATER GOES EVERYWHERE. ENJOYED STAY FOR THE PRICE. FRONT DESK PERSONEL VERY HELPFUL
