What Travellers Like

  • The hotel itself was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The view from the rooftop restaurant is amazing and its well worth having a drink there. The rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. We had one evening meal in the rooftop restaurant and the waiters were very friendly and efficient and the food was scrumptious. We found this hotel very good value and a perfect location for what we wanted. It is next door to a metro station, which is very clean and safe and the trains run every few minutes.. Read review

  • Breakfast was included and you certainly would not leave hungry. The pool is located on the rooftop and has a SPECTACULAR view of the city and the Acropolis, make sure you go up and look at the view at night. The subway station is 2 steps from the front door and this enables you to go everywhere. All the staff are very helpful and the bartenders on the rooftop are especially friendly and happy to make you anything. There is Internet accessibility in the lobby and if you buy the card from the front desk it is VERY INEXPENSIVE!. Read review

  • That said, the saving grace of our trip was the hotel which was of an excellent standard and was beautifully decorated. It happened to be situated near a metro station which was fortunate as trying to cross even a small side-road meant taking your life in your hands so we went everywhere by tube. The underground stations were bizzarely immaculate (which is amazing considering the local council couldn't replicate that standard above ground! Our beds were actually twin despite asking for a double bed, but it was a spacious room with a lovely powerful shower, great air-conditioning and sky tv. An excellent buffet with a huge array of choice which was regularly replenished even at 10am. The only problem we had was getting any information for tours or attractions from either anyone at the hotel or anywhere else in greece (including the tourist info!. Read review

  • Amazing breakfast, clean rooms, very nice staff. The location may seem far from the main attractions, but you have the metro downstairs! As for the restaurants around the hotel, if you are looking attentively, you will find a couple of very nice places, including a very nice tavern, with Greek people only.. Read review

  • The room was well appointed and very comfortable. There was a pool on the roof with a view of the Acropolis. The hotel was located above one of the metro stations, so travelling into the city was very easy and quick - only 3 stops from downtown and for only 80 cents. The only negative aspect of our 3 day stay was that the reception area was filled with cigarette smoke, as it adjoined a cafe filled with smokers, most of the time.. Read review
