Location

Ideally located on Constitution Square, this hotel is one of the most famous landmarks in Athens. It rests in the heart of the business and shopping district, and within walking distance of the Acropolis, Old City (Plaka) and most of the city's sights and attractions.

The palace was originally built to serve as an annex to the palace, which occupied the building that housed Greece’s Parliament on the square’s eastern flank. Later, it served briefly as the prime minister’s residence before being acquired by a Greek businessman who added several floors and converted it into a hotel. One of its first guests was King George II, who made it his haunt. In the 50s, 60s and 70s, it was also the favourite hotel of international celebrities, magnates, world leaders and movie stars. These included Aristotle Onassis and Maria Kallas, Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier of Monaco, Marilyn Monroe, Brigitte Bardot, Frank Sinatra and Francois Mitterand.

On the ground floor, the T Palace is an all day lounge bar and restaurant, making it the ideal place for a rendezvous, after-work drink or dinner party. Enjoy good food and drinks while listening to music played by DJs. T Palace is open daily from 09:00 to 02:00.

A great location and exceptional hotel. The decorations amazing, the kind staff and the concierge was particularly pleasant and serviceable. Bed was comfortable, the jacuzzi was quite powerful and the breakfast was fine. . Read review

The location is just perfect: right overlooking the central Syntagma Square and this hotel is excellent- good service. Furthermore the staff are excellent, bO equipped rooms that are clean and the breakfast terrace is one of a kind. . Read review
