Stayed here for three nights in September, 2004, in a non-smoking room in the new wing. This hotel is superb. The room was spacious and very well appointed. Everything is new and of good quality. Located immediately behind the National Archaeological Museum and a fairly short walk to Omonia, which is the nearest Metro stop. The staff is helpful and pleasant. I will certainly stay again!

Why choose (this) Best Western? Because of price/quality ratio! Small rooms, not so bad location from sightseeing center, and Arqueological museum. Not so good neighbourhood, but better than the other two same chain hotels units, which is lausy!

Not a very good experience on arrival. The hotel was very difficult to find and the directions given were poor. I was not able to accomodate an extra bed for a samll child (the rooms are VERY SMALL) and I was forced to get an extra room for the first night. I had to upgrade to a larger room with a larger price tag. The hotel inmediate surroundings will scare some people and it is true you will see drug-addicts and shady characters in the streets near the hotel. The police force was actually a welcoming sight next to the hotel! If you have your own car, you will have to pay an extra 10 Euro per night for parking. On the positive side, the hotel location in regards to the sights is very good, Internet is free, and the staff were fairly helpful. Breakfast was also good

We used this hotel for a quick overnight stay on the way to one of the Greek Islands. It is okay for a night or two. The location was not terrific. The guards carrying automatic weapons outside the adjacent museum was alarming at first. They stared us down and made us feel really uncomfortable. Once the hotel staff explained why they were their we were a little more at ease.

Good location next to the Natl Archaeological Museum. Walked to the Acropolis from there, around 1.5 miles. The director, Emmanouil Kardamis, went out of his way to supply any information that we asked for. A full breakfast was included. Only had 1 full day there before our cruise left. Taxi from airport was 26 Euros.
