the staff were very nice- as we arrived our room was being attended to by a maintaince staff- we had to wait 15minutes in the area near the elevator seated in chairs- 10 minutes after we were allowed in our room- we had a tray of fruit and wine delivered to our room as a welcome. we stayed only one night but would surely return-bus from aiport was a bargain- left us 100 meters from hotel

We really were happy with the Coral Hotel. It is in a great location with lots of shops and places to eat within walking distance and a little beach right across the street. We got a room on the 6th floor facing the ocean and the views were beautiful. I checked out the side facing rooms and they just looked into the building next door so the ocean facing rooms are the best. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and even though it is on a busy street you cannot hear anything with the sliding door closed. I wondered what the other hotels were like farther down the coast and after driving that way in a cab on the way to the airport I was glad that we were in the location where the Coral is as farther south doesn’t seem to have much in the way of shopping or eateries. The service was good as was the breakfast and this is a good place to stay if you are coming or going on a cruise as the port is just a few miles away. If you book a room here, you will not be disappointed.

This hotel is wonderful, the staff are fantastic and very friendly and helpful its clean and bright. Their is coffee and tea on tap all the time ( they make a good brew.) Myself and two friend went over for a trip in 2006 and I have been waiting for someone to go back with and show it off . My friends and I fell in love with the place. I have booked with another friend to come back in August 2008 for 4 days and can't wait to walk on the board walk and talk to the locals they are so interesting and helpful. We are heading off to do Greece and the islands again can never see enough of this country and its history (the next trip dose not take in this hotel)so had to book in and show my friend this place, she has looked at the countless pictures but they don't do justice to the beauty of this area and Country.. Just sitting outside looking at the view from this hotel having breakfast witch is fantastic you must have dinner at least once while you are staying in the hotel, they make a mean cocktail . Just walk five steps and you are on the deck sip and enjoy the sunset and the beauty of the islands behind it what else could you want. its breath taking this is what dreams are made of . . If they rented rooms on a life time basis I would be their you couldn't ask for a better position to be in and so central to Athens itself and transport to all areas. So if you are thinking of traveling look at this hotel especially if you are like me and living in"Australia and near the beach our views are great but would swap for this view any day and thats saying something". Thank you for letting me stay in your wonderful hotel and sharing you wonderful country. I speak on behalf of the two other friends that went with me Margret Willoughby, Lyn Kinlay and myself Carolyn Clifford Australia Manly NSW
