Just back from a weekend away at the Penrallt Hotel with my bf. This hotel although tricky to find was fabulous and one of the best hotels we have stayed at in UK. We stayed in room 4 in the main hotel which was huge and wonderfully furnished with a huge flat screen tv, sitting area, balcony with views of the sea and a lovely bathroom. Hotel staff were friendly and very helpful without being intrusive to our stay and breakfast was lovely with a great choice of cereal, juice, tea, coffee, toast and various choices from continental to full english. We stayed on a special 2 night deal which worked out at ?75 per night b&b and made use of the facilities which included a lovely sitting area, pool and whirpool and sauna and gym facilities and met some very nice locals whilst using the pool. Had originally booked a standard double in the cottage garden area and we did go and have a peek as these rooms and they were also nice and large with lovely furnishings so would have been very pleased with these also. The waiting staff were lovely (french i think) and when my bf wasnt happy with his steak (too rare for him) and asked for it to be changed were very happy to oblige no hassle at all, although i think that the main dining room menu is overpriced and could do with tweaking, the bar dining area was of better value although not as much choice to be honest. Would definately stay here again, had a lovely relaxing time and loved the place. Great for visiting the local attractions including Mwnt which was a fantastic little cove and great views over the coast. Didnt want to leave and will hopefully return in not to distant future!

Gorgeous hotel set in lovely grounds. On arriving helpful friendly receptionist showed us to our room which was stunning - clean, tidy, extremely well decorated, flatscreen Tv with freeview, tea/coffe making facilities, toiletries etc. Very comfy bed! Had evening meal in the terrace restaurant -good menu, lovely food, exellent service. Bar also great - quick service, nice atmosphere. Huge choice of breakfasts, from cereals, toast, full english, coninental, smoked salmon and plenty more. Nice quick stress free checkout. All in all a great little hotel, with lovely staff, will definately be visiting there again!
