the room were so in modern style specially the painting rooms, since each room had its own style and decoration, my room was Spiderman charector in a very lovely simple way, I loved it and I was taking pics for the room all the time, and I loved the balcony with the view in the center of Athens. . Our room though not the biggest that we have stayed in was comfortable and clean, all that you want from a hotel really. Bathroom was quite large, we had a room overlooking the side street with a view of some derelict offices! Staff were very friendly, my only grumble was that there could have been more wardrobe space. It was an easy walk to Plaka, Syntagma so an excellent location. A good choice and the rate at euro 110, including breakfast was good value.. Read review

This is one of the most beautiful & luxurious hotels I've ever seen, but also probably the most stupidly designed. Plexiglass tables beside the bed had no drawers or additional shelf. Silliest of all was the shower: Turn it on, check water temperature - open shower door to do this, but then water cascades onto the floor. The only towel that wasn't sopping up water was the one I dried myself with. The staff was extremely nice & helpful, giving me a box lunch when I left very early for my plane, but I advised that they spend a night in that room, bringing with them the clothing they might have for a week's trip.. Great wall paintings, bohemiam & art nouveau designs from the reception till where ever you can imagine! Our room was painted by a very famous artist and as we found out all rooms are painted by a different artist with a different theme! Don't miss the opportunity to taste the outstanding "meat me" taverna where you will be please to taste the real authentic flavours of a real greek/meditarranean cuisine! To finish, of course, I couldn't forget the extremely rich, professional & totally relaxed treatments I had in Carita Spa centre of the babygrand where you can relax by choosing the best of world's treatments!. This is a super hip hotel located in maybe the best location of Athens. My experience, in brief, was the following: 1) very easy booking through the company's (Classical hotels) site-also we payed 120 euros per day which is a very good value compared to the other options we had 2) the hotel's reception is a genuine gem, a truly hip design, one of the best i have ever met in any hotel world wide 3) service was impeccable, they gave us useful tips, booked us amazing restaurant "Papadakis" in the posh area of Kolonaki and even told us (Nikos the super friendly manager) where to do our shopping 4) the painted wall room was perfectly decorated, beds very comfty! 5) on our last night we had dinner at the hotel's restaurant "Meat me" and the food was excellent (again very well priced). Overall this is a secure, hip, good value for money, great location, flawless hotel.. Read review
