Had a very relaxing 10 days at this fabulously situated hotel. We had a luxury room which was so much better than the standard rooms, a bit of a struggle up and down the paths - but need to lose some weight so helpful really... The views are breathtaking from just about everywhere. The food is quite good, with a wide selection. The prices are reasonable at the bar - though we did venture into Barbati village most nights as we found the bars there to be a bit more lively and met a few couples to chat to. We found the staff to be helpful and pleasant. The only downside really was the lack of entertainment in the evening, there was also a slight lack of atmosphere sometimes, I lost count of the number of times I smiled at my fellow guests, only to be greeted with a glum stare - c'est la vie! I would recommend this Hotel if you need to chill out and recharge your batteries - we did and are now fully recharged and ready for what life has to throw at us!

We had a lovely time at the Pantokrator, we had booked the luxury rooms which I would recommend booking. Barbati is a fairly quiet, but beautiful resort. The hotel is at the top of a very steep hill which can be tough in the heat, but it wouldn't put me off. The pool area is very nice with a lovely poolside bar and view. The food in the evenings was so-so, but there are some nice restaurants close if you wanted a bit more choice. We took the water taxi from the beach to Corfu Town for a day and I would highly recomend this. The town is lovely, lots of shops and restaurants and very picturesque. The water taxi is also good value for money in comparison to the equivalant journey in a taxi and on our return journey the driver took us to some caves to look through the glass bottom of the boat. if you ask at the reception of the hotel they can tell you when the water taxi leaves. Overall we had a lovely relaxing holiday in this friendly resort. Highly recommended.
