Dalescroft is in the Bishopthorpe Road area on the south-west side of the city where there are restaurants, shops and hairdressers nearby. The B&B is just 500 metres walk from the River Ouse and the splendour of the historic city of York.

The South Bank area of York, famous for the Terry's chocolate factory, is also a short walk away. Other nearby attractions include York Castle Museum, on the site of the former York Castle, and Clifford's Tower, part of the remains of the castle.

Was a pleasant 15 minute walk into the city, the people of York were friendly and the room was very comfortable and quiet. The breakfasts were excellent, the owners were very helpful and accommodating. . Read review
