- Unfortunately didn't stay here, but did have an absolutely excellent meal there last night. The dining room is fantastic having recently been refurbished to a top class standard. The staff were fantastic and the waiters/waitress were the best I've come across in a long time. The menu is second to none and they must have a fantastic chef as the food was FANTASTIC!. Read review

2Upon arrival (on the coldest day of the year so far) we were met by a friendly receptionist, but it went downhill from there! The Room - small, and dominated by a huge kingsize bed. The reviews say that this restauarant is "one of the top fine dining venues in the North" _ What a joke....

We had been recommended to pay extra for a room to the rear of the hotel, however when there is a noisy function this does not help. The young New Zealander who did serve us was friendly. However, my husband (the......
