Our stop over in Worcester was very last minute and after trying several of the bigger hotels (all full) in the town we were given the number of St Lawrence. We managed to book a room for that evening but were told there was only a twin on the top floor available. We were able to check in as soon as we arrived. (About 13.00)
Check in was fast and friendly, room was clean. Tea, coffee and biscuits were provided in room along with TV. En-suite had shower the pressure was fantastic and lots of hot water (no bath). Beds were comfortable and bed linen was clean and fresh. 5-8 minute walk to town centre (a slight hill, nothing too steep but may not be suitable for some). Also there is no lift at the Hotel; stairs were quite steep with narrow treads. Breakfast- choice of, toast, cereal, full English and a few other bits (fruit etc). All cooked well.

More like an inn/b&b. no in room phones. Room wont be cleaned unless requested. Towels wont be changed unless requested, Full English breakfast served upon request. A decent place to stay in a pinch.
