my wife and i were passing through shrewsbury and had seen cromwells reviews on the internet. it was a short walk from the train station through town and we found it easily. on arrival we were met by a very pleasant young man who checked us in and showed us to our room. the place was very quirky with its slanting floors and expoised beams but it all added to the wonderful mood of the place. there was a nice terrace at the back which was not only shielded from the road noise but also caught the sun for the whole day. the vibrant chatty staff made us feel like we were right at home and it made our visit very peaceful and relaxing. i will definatley be staying there again i hope they can match our first visit.
