Quality Inn Mount Vernon - Alexandria, USA 

Travelers from Michigan: 1 male(27), 1 female (28) We had originally booked another hotel close to the Air Force base and when we arrived we were scared for out lives. We immediately canceled our reservations and began searching for a new hotel. We drove around all over D.C. looking for a cheap hotel nothing fancy in a decent and close area. We found it in Alexandria's Quality Inn. Nothing fancy but exactly what we were looking for. The rooms were always cleaned the bathroom was immaculate, and the staff was so pleasant, continental breakfast included, refrigerator and safe in your room. It was perfect and reasonably priced. After the experience we had with our first hotel selection their staffs' smiles were a welcomed site. The hotel is 5 minutes from the Metro to take you into downtown D.C. so easy. We didn't experience the pool because it was closed for the season already. There is also a great authentic Mexican restaurant as well as a Denny's walking distance and we always felt safe even at night to do so. Restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores were a mile or two down the road also. The areas culture consisted most of Mexican heritage, they were amazing people, friendly, courteous, and always helpful. This hotel's staff and the facility itself definitely helped make our trip a great inexpensive one.

We loved our stay at this motel! The staff were very helpful, our room was always very well cleaned everyday. We could not hear our neighbors next door. We thought that it was a great place to stay and we are looking forward to staying there again next year!!!
