Green Field Hotel - Hoi An, Vietnam 

Enjoyed our stay at the greenfield hotel. The staff are not terribly friendly but always very courteous. I found our room quite nice and the balcony fantastic. We also overlooked a private yard with dog and chickens but loved the rooster crowing in the morning, my country background I guess. Breakfast was more than adequate and a good range to choose from. My only negative for this place was do not use aus$ to pay for anything as their exchange rate is terrible (13000 dong in june).

Very disappointed with the hotel, certainly is not 3 star! The pool was green, internet connection unbearably slow and the rooms weren't very clean. My room had air conditioning but the unit was extremely old and hardly worked. There were ants crawling all over the wall in my room when I returned one evening. The guy on reception wouldn't let me move rooms and instead just tried to squash them all against the wall. They went everywhere. It's also a long walk into town. I really wouldn't bother with this place. I moved after one night to somewhere much more central, nicer and cheaper!
