I stayed at the ship in may2008.We were a group of 8 all working for m&s. we travel alot and have stayed in all sorts of hotels. This has to rate as the worst ever. On the web and from the outside it looks idilic till you get inside. Our room was at the back of the hotel overlooking a dirty yard where they stored the dustbins and looked into a vegetable storeroom. All the staff had their cigarete breaks there. The chef had a cold and spat a lot. Under our window was a massive kitchen extractor fan which started at 5.30 in the morning till 11 at night.! The bathroom grouting was black with grime. On our last night there after cleaning the bath i got in it as i was l soaking ilooked at the floor to see it flooded! if it wasnt so sad itbe funny. we all tried to be moved but apparently the hotel was full. Also conversation with reception was difficult as the only English the guy could say was_you speak to the manager_ and_ innit? please dont stay here.

Well where do I start? Awful hotel, very dirty, smelly, appauling state of repair. FLEAS IN THE BED!!!. Ignore any good reviews on here as they are bound to be written by the hotel owners in cognito as the place is terrible in all senses. Food - don't bother it's expensive and from a microwave. The rooms are in a poor state of repair and have such dirty bathrooms my colleague wouldn't wash there. Peeling wallpaper and stained tiles. Fawlty towers would be the Hilton in comparison. I have written a complaint to hotel and local trading standards as they are obviously exploiting guests as they are so close to shepperton studios and have a captive market. There is apparently an adequate Holiday Inn nearby so please reconsider before booking. AVOID AVOID AVOID.
