This may not be the most luxurious of hotels but is right at the top with the excellent leisure facilities they provide. There are some great deals available if you book at the right time and is definitely value for money when the rooms are available from 65-75 pounds a night. Me and my boyfriend have stayed here many times and thoroughly enjoy our stay. Watford town centre is only 10mins cab ride away. The pool and jacuzzi are very relaxing and defnitely feels like you have had a break away.
The downside to this hotel is the very expensive rates they charge at their restaurant and bar, would not eat there as this is definitely NOT value for money but there is plenty of places to eat in watford. Would have also preferred if on some days they would allow guests late checkout.
However all in all a lovely hotel would recommend it.

My stay at the Ramada Watford was for business purposes, I would never personally choose to stay at this hotel for a leisure trip!
Facilities are ok - there's a small pool with a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room and a gym - all of which allow a solitary night spent in a hotel room on your own to be passed easier!
I was travelling on my own, which isn't the most pleasent of experiences when you're female, so I choose to dine in my room for comfort. The in room dining menu is not very adventurous and very expensive - ?13.50 a beef burger.
To me also, security is paramount and I was placed in a room miles away from reception and at the very back of the extensive building (this place is like a maze) and on the ground floor with an alarming notice on the window advising that they open fully - so a closed window on a warm night in June in a room with no air con - not a comfortable night for me! I have stayed in Premier Inns previously where they make a concession for single female travellers placing them on at least a 2nd floor in the middle not near any doors that can be easily broken in to - ie fire escapes etc.
The rooms are very dated - 80's decor and a small and pokey bathroom. The shower head was encrusted in limescale too.
On the whole, I am quite dissapointed with my stay and its back to premier inns with a supermarket sandwich as my nourishment for me for future business trips!
