U Brany - Prague, Czech Republic     

Prague is a beautiful city, a must to visit.Booked hotel and transport through Czech website ( www.prague.st ) no hitches at all. Hotel has a great location, easy walking distances to most things you want to see ( may be difficult if very poor mobility as on slight hill , no lift ) , trams easy and accessible. We had a large 2 roomed suite, for 5 ,with 3 double beds, beds very comfortable & everthing very clean. Towels changed daily ( could manage every other day) only 1 bathroom with separate toilet .Shower was handheld over bath & would have been easier if wall mounted An extra mirror would have helped ( 5 girls & only 2 mirrors! ) but we managed without any difficulties & would not put us off staying here again. We found all the staff very helpful & polite; breakfast was in cellar, predominantly continental ( breads, ham, cheese, cakes,toast ,yoghurt, fruit, eggs, & plenty of it. great coffee & selection of teas.Restaurent attached is apparently no longer part of hotel & although we ate here once would not again.Plenty of eating places around . No facilities ( pool etc) but we didnt go to P to stay in hotel .Internet access available. We would all stay here again

So-so hotel experience. The location was excellent, and the hotel was clean, however we felt that we didn't get the value we would look for in a 200 euro and more/per night hotel. The rooms were large, but the furniture extremely old and uncomfortable. The carpet was tired and stained, and the only chairs small and uncomfortable. We were there in December and the heat was not working when we arrived, and once functioning, it did not work well enough to heat the whole room. With some attention to detail and comfort, this could be a wonderful hotel, hopefully they will do something to improve!!
