Preston Sands Hotel - Paignton, United Kingdom     

Having stayed here at the end of last year i was surprised to see what changes had been made !! New management - ( a pleasant lady who could never do enough to please ) The hotel looked a lot nicer from the outside as did the inside. Meals were Excellent with a wide choice of courses and was bought to us by a very friendly waitress . All told a marked improvement from when i stayed last time i will definitely be staying, when im back in the area on business again ..

Lovely seafront location in quite cul-de-sac. We found the staff very friendly, polite and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The food was lovely, nothing too fancy, good wholesome food with plenty of choice, always hot. The rooms were clean and fresh with comfortable beds. Cleaned every day. They are in the process of refurbishing the whole hotel and you can tell that they are making alot of effort to update. There is no lift so that could be a problem for the more infirm. Only downside we found was there was no mention of the fact that there is a railway line at the rear of the hotel, although the trains do not run through the night. Altogether a very pleasant stay.
