Oxford Botanic Garden : The Botanic Gardens are the oldest botanic garden in Britain. Aside from the original beds of herbs and medicinal plants the gardens now sport a series of glasshouses devoted to Tropical Lilies, Arid zone plants, and Palms.

Universities (1Km) - Dreaming spires, tours of the colleges, Ashmolean Museum, visit the haunts of Tolkein,C S Lewis and Phillip Pullman or see where classic filming of Morse and Harry Potter are set.

The Cotswolds (10Km) - Traditional Cotswold villages such as Burford and Stow on the Wold are easily accesible - why not visit The Cotswold Wildlife Park?
