Location
The hotel was built in the late 19th century (during the reign of Queen Victoria) adjacent to the Llangollen Canal, as the country home of James Coster Edwards and his family. This beautiful town boasts a steam railway, horse drawn canal boat trips, historic buildings (including the castle and abbey), white water canoeing and spectacular walks for all ages.

The intimate Oak Room is perfect for private lunches and dinners for up to 30 people; it is the ideal place to relax and unwind. Relax in our Lounge Bar, where a variety of bar snacks are served. Here you will see James Coster Edwards' initials within the ornate plasterwork of the ceiling.
