Lansdowne 2 (formerly the Drop Inn) details: This small hotel is located in the heart of Manchester‘s student area, on the road of the busiest bus route in Europe. Manchester City Centre and University are just 5 minutes’ bus ride away.

All of the rooms are light, clean, and spacious, with relaxing full-size baths. Guests can also make use of TVs and tea/coffee making facilities.

The hotel features its own bar, and rooms are located behind The Ram and Shackle, a large student bar which features live bands, DJs, quizzes and entertainment every day.

All rooms are located in a separate building behind the Ram and Shackle and away from the main road, free of noise.

Nice relaxed atmosphere and good for the money. Staff were lovely and 45 for a twin room rest of Manchester was booked up. The sheets were clean, the service for breakfast was fine. . Read review
