3I recently stayed at Harpers for one night with a group of lads after coming up to Manchester to watch football. The hotel was still being refurbished when we stayed but our room was decent, although one of the windows was cracked and the shower was difficult to get the temperature right. On a more positive note, the hotel does offer off street parking.
Our rooms were clean and the hotel was fantastic value considering the rooms cost us £90 for a room that sleeps 5 and £50 for a room that sleeps 3. This included a full English breakfast which was up to London café standards! This worked out around £18 each for one night and breakfast, so very cheap.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, and considering our drunkenness after our night out, very patient with our behaviour!
Please note, the pictures I attach were taken on vacating the room.
Essentially you pay for what you get; and if you just want a bed to sleep in, very little damage to your wallet, considerate staff and a full English breakfast I don’t think you can argue with the value.
