Lovely night at the Premier Inn! Posted: Thu, Jul 03 2008

The Hotel was in an excellent location, right next to the Manchester United Stadium and a 5 minute walk from the Cricket Ground. The staff were all very helpful, efficient and welcoming. The rooms were well equipped with everything you need. We stayed in a double room which was more than adequate and the bed was soooo comfy! The ensuite was sparkly clean too! After our concert, which finished at about 10.30pm, the hotel organised pizza to take away in boxes to our rooms or eat in the bar which were only ?7-8 for a good size. This was a nice touch and much needed! The car park was secure as well.
I initially had low expectations of Premier Inn - initially thought the price was rather high. However, I was wrong. This Hotel was simply wonderful for the level of comfort offered. Decent Bed, Air Con, Tidy!
My niggles were - Internet Access - this is not cheap if you need it and ?7.50 for a breakfast was a lot - but then again it is an all you can eat buffet - i'm just not a big eater.
There are cheaper hotels elsewhere - but this seems worth the money (Cost me ?130 for two nights)
First time at Premier Inn, I wonder if they are all so nice! Posted: Tue, Jul 01 2008

This hotel has just been taken over by Premier Inn and it was still being worked on... (paint in the service stairways eg)
Everything was brand new, the rooms are quite large and excellent bedding.
The elevator is in a very complicated location to get to...
Excellent breakfast buffet, and wonderful front desk staff.
