What Travellers Like

  • My husband and I have just stayed at this hotel for 2 nights for business/leisure and fully recommend it to anyone who likes attention to detail, good value and service. The service is outstanding, when we arrived the concierge was informative and gave my husband clear directions on where to park the car. I checked in and Sion at the reception was welcoming and showed me to my room pointing out all the amenities etc. He was friendly, courteous and charming/ nothing was too much trouble he ordered us fresh milk, an ice bucket and this arrived promptly, with the added touch of homemade biscuits. I had a manicure and Stacey the beauty therapist was excellent (very friendly) and because I was a guest I received 10% discount. The room was clean and beds were comfortable.. Read review

  • We booked a deluxe room but on check in decided to treat ourselves to an alfresco suite. It was a lovely room very spacious with balcony and immaculately clean. What we love about this hotel is not just the lovely rooms and facilities but the excellent levels of service received from every member of staff. We used the valet parking service an excellent service definately worth paying the small supplement. We also used the gym and spa/pool which is great for relaxing after a busy day shopping. Breakfast once again was delicious and good variety. Once again we were given a lovely room and treated to the high levels of service that this hotel offers.. Read review

  • We arranged concierge parking (£20) in advance. Upon arrival we drove up to the front of the hotel where the concierge was waiting. Spa and steam room facilities were excellent. Breakfast was a large selection and good quality. There are other hotels available for less, but overall the quality in all aspects of the hotel and the concierge service was worth paying for.. • The reception area is fantastic, with large chandaliers and a fabulous Buddha's head as the centre piece! On check in we paid a supplement charge to upgrade to an AlFresco winter garden suite - the room consisted of a lounge/dining area and glass doors leading onto an outside decking area - architectural brilliance! The vibrant atmosphere and attentive staff made our hectic morning seem a million miles away. We would like to pass on our compliments to all the staff who are friendly, assertive and genuinely only too happy to help. It is our daughters wedding next year and we have been looking for venus for the reception - the Radisson Edwardian has definitely won our vote!. Read review
