2We were only staying one night so i wasn't too bothered i just wanted a good nights sleep, their is a car park which is ok & floodlit at night & you get a permit ticket once you've checked in, while i was there the lift seemed to be working in an erratic manner- one minute ok & no response the next which prompted me to take the stairs, on taking the stairs i found the red carpet to be threadbare in places with black tape all over it which looked terrible, you would have at least thought they could have used red tape which at least would have looked better, from the outside the hotel looks like an ugly 1960's concrete office block & not attractive at all,
The room we had was small & just outside the window was the M56 motorway which was noisy but the windows are double glazed so it's not too bad, the room was clean & tea & coffee available & the bed was fairly comfortable, the reception area is ok if looking a little bit dated in places, there is a bar & lounge area with a restaurant & two pool tables which is not a bad place to chill out, the atmosphere was very friendly, be careful of the internet access it costs ?1 for about 12 mins but when i went on it was taking ages to find sites so i asked for my money back which i got with no argument, to sum up this place is ok for a one night stay if your flying out next day or a stopover but i would not recommend it for any longer.
