This hotel was well better than we expected. The room was large (there were three adults), the beds were comfy, towels were fluffy and white and all were very very clean. Breakfast was very good even without the hot food we British like. There were cereals, toast, croissants, jam, butter, fresh fruit, fruit juice, meat and cheese, coffee or tea so it was excellent. The staff were very friendly and open to any questions or requests we may have had. All in all it was an excellent experience. Good restaurant we found was a Chinese 'TheRice Bowl' I think it was in Cross Street - not far from Victoria Station anyway, and it was fabulous. Manchester was great and I am a true scouser - so go and have a good time!

Yo Dudes, The hotel is a quite a tacky one but for the price you can't complain. You won't find may places cheaper and they had a triple room which not all hotels have. The room needed a bit of work but it was clean and tidy, which is all I care about. The staff were friendly enough. Cheers Chris

Having stayed in this hotel in may 2006 during a visit to manchester to see Girls Aloud at the M.E.N. Arena i can honestly advise people to steer well clear of this establishment. The welcome was none exsistent and the room was dusty throughout, had a grubby carpet and a blown lightbulb. To add to this the main window in the room (which looked out over a busy junction) did not close and could be opened by merely pushing on it gently!!! I was concerned by this so god help anyone who would be staying with a small child!! Upon arrival we were told that the only breakfast that was available was an english one (I instantly looked forward to bacon, egg, sausage etc), however, we were suprised to find hard croissants an a basket of cereal that contained out of date products. I would only recommend this hotel if absolutely everywhere else in the world was fully booked!!!
