We stayed in the Jurys for 2 nights. There was 3 teenage girls all over 18. The hotel was super, the staff was nice and polite. It was also vety clean. This hotel was in a good location for the shops. Just outside is the metro train. I would stay in this hotel again.
Stayed here for a conference at the nearby Manchester Central Conference venue (3 minutes walk ,a positive point for this hotel)
No real complaints, but the hotel on offer is basic. For example, no soap bars in the bathroom, merely a soap liquid dispenser on the wall. The bath towels were small and thin. To be fair however the room was a reasonable size, very clean, and the bed was comfortable.
Likewise, the choice of food at breakfast was limited. But having said that it was well cooked.
So what is the overall conclusion.Arguably, this hotel has been influenced by accountants!! ie very clearly offering accomodation at a budget level and no more.So be an accountant in return !
If you can get a room at a budget price ,then this hotel is fine.It is after all close to conference venues and central (shopping) Manchester in general.Conversely,if the price is higher then the balance would be to look at other hotels.
Would I go back? Yes - but the price would have to be right.

I stayed at this hotel for buisness and although it was conveniently located one minute from Manchester Central Conference Centre, the room was basic and looked cheap.
The hot water in the shower didn't flow properly and I had to balance it out by having the cold tap from the sink on at the same time as taking a shower.
I nearly gave myself hernia untucking the duvet they had wrapped it in so hard, I wish I had taken a photo of the old fashioned primary school colours they had managed to blend in to the design.
The was no door to the wardrobe...not sure if that was design or just saving money...
Staff were nice and for buisness it's an OK hotel - for pleasure, stay away.
