I stayed here the night before an early morning flight out of Manchester International at the end of a 2-week UK vacation. The room had 2 twin beds and was quite spacious. The interior of the hotel was very modern. I just wish breakfast was served earlier for early departures. The location was great with Manchester Piccadilly Station within short walking distance as well as a wide variety of restaurants. However, I can certainly relate to recent reviewers' experience with the noise. I still think this is a great alternative to staying at the more expensive hotels nearest the Airport. It's only 15 minutes away by train out of Manchester Piccadilly.
