Booked the hotel online and had to pay a 10% deposit so I used my bank card and the next day I got a call from the bank to say it had been cloned!!! whether it was coincidence or not i dont know but after staying here i dont think so! we arrived at 1.30 on saturday for a one night stay for our friends 21st birthday! We were told we could park behind the hotel (it is a good job I have got a 13 year old car because there is no way I would leave anything of any value round there!!) The man behind the desk asked for my keys as would need to move my car to let other guests out, he said "Is there anything of value in your car? Don't worry I am not go to nick anything" We booked 4 rooms one of which had a number of white stains on the bed which could only be described as man milk!! 3 of the rooms had shared bathrooms all of which looked like the toilet in trainspotting!...... the door didnt shut there was electrical cable running under the bath, and excrement on the floor! one of the other rooms had a smashed mirror, no curtains and a broken chest of drawers and graffiti and black handprints on the walls and the main door had no handle. There was lumps and bumps and holes in the carpet of the ground floor covered up by gaffer tape which someone had written "[--] you hall way!! - How random!! There was PRAMS and matresses covering all the fire exits!! One of our party also parked round the back of the hotel but did not leave her car keys at reception so at 7:30am she was rudely awoken by a Asian man bursting into her room chanting keys please-keys please-keys please to say she was scared was an understatment!!! My fiance was lying in bed asleep when his wake up call was a burst of cold water pouring out of a crack in the ceiling all over him and drenching the bed Needless to say we didnt go down for breakfast as we didnt fancy food poisening. To end our fantastic weekend i collected my car keys from reception to find they had been smoking in my car and dropped ash all over the gear stick. Luckily were all easy going and saw the funny side but others might not be so tolerant!!!!
