3We also stayed at the Hotel after going to see Bon Jovi at the City of Manchester Stadium.
We had mixed feelings on our room, although the bed was comfortable and we slept well the room was small and the decoration out of date. The shower needed replacing and bath was blocked. We felt like it could do with a refurb.
The service was very good - reception staff were knowledgeable and helpful and the staff at breakfast were quick and helpful.
The hotel had no parking facillities so we parked closeby at an NCP carpark - although expensive (?15.50 overnight) for us, it is as expected in London.
The location was excellent, right in the middle of bars, shops and restaurants (although not many open late on a Sunday!) and the buses were ?1 each just outside the hotel. It was 25 mins walk back from the stadium and we felt safe.
Breakfast was good you could have a full english or continental, although the coffee tasted odd...perhaps not Nescafe!
Overall we would recommend the hotel based on location and service, and the standard of hotel is what you would expect for the price in London.
