please if you can cancel your booking! leading up to the hotel is adark and dingy alley with various blue rubbish bags pliked up in the street the hotel stank of a strange mix of urine and vomit!! leading up the staris was a batterd and tidy looking floor, once the lady had finaly answerd the buzzer to let us in we arrived at reception! At first the lady seemed okay she smiled and was polite however the mood soon changed! we were informed that there was no hot water in the building but we were told not to worry as we were having the grand sum of £5 knocked of our bill, we asked to speak to the manager but we were informed that this was the manger, we had incindentaly booked a ensuite so the shower was now unuseable and we were ment to be going out that night, we were handed two keys and told that there wasnt a night porter and we could let ourselfs in which we werent happy about but again we just growled at! The roomwas distgusting paint was moulded room uncleaned etc etc you could not make this stuff up, again we went to complain and we were treated as if we should be happy that our rooms were so cheap! bfast was a joke cold ceral and toast and a choice of gone of fruit, we will not be staying here again and would tell ohters not to!

Ok soit wasnt the ritz but me and my new boyfriend booked in here as it was close to work for us both and we wanted something simple and cheap. When we arrived the lovely woman on reception gave us a free upgrade as there was a larger room available, then the room itself was spacious enough for the two of us the shower worked fine it had everything u needed for a short stay the bed was comfortable and clean, so if ur a snob then go to the malmassion but me and my boyfriend will be going there again its a great stay and we had the best night and a welcoming breakfast the next day Kristina calvert

Dont do it!

ok so it started with no one being helpful at all. sheets were dirty. no mirror in the room. there was 2 of us staying and given only one key, which proved a problem for my friend coming home at 6 am. no ported on duty to let him in, i wont tell you the rest. the room had been booked on a credit card, and hotel was ordered to debit card on their departure, but instead they ordered us pay the money as we left, which left us very tight for taxi to the airport. not very understanding, and not even worth the cheap price that we paid. they said it was close to old trafford as this was our reason for the trip, but we ended up spending most of our money on taxis. Never again. Manchester came up trumps but if i ever saw this hotel again it would be too soon- hence the title---------DONT DO IT!!!! I read the reviews on this before I went and said it couldnt be that bad, but it is.

Worst Hotel Ever

1. The water in the shower wouldn't go down the sewer unless you flushed the toilet (!!!) 2. The walls are paper thin, so we could hear our next door nighbours at all hours. 3. There was a light-switch, but no light source connected to it. 4. There wasn't a phone in the room so we had to keep running to the reception desk in case anyone wanted us. 5. When we asked for extra blankets, they weren't brought to our room - we had to wait and carry everything up on our own. 6. No lift and many steps to climb. 7. Located on a very scary scary street - I wouldn't wander out there at night. 8. The "hotel" is old and tattered. The only good thing was the breakfast. But all in all, simply horrible. Stay away.
