Downstairs, the inn comprises of a comfy seated area with an open log fire. The large bar area is open all day from 11:00 to 23:00 and has a spacious and relaxed restaurant area. There is also a private dining area, and outside dining is available on an adult only patio or the child friendly main garden area.

The blackboard menu is famous throughout the New Forest area for its mix of old favourites, exciting specials, fresh fish and seasonal game. The bar also hosts 5 real ales and has an excellent selection of fine wines to suit anyone's palette.
