Lermoos is situated on one of the oldest and biggest historical European highways. The roman Via Claudia used this route going from the German provinces over the Fern pass to Italy.

Location

In the warmest time of the year, the Zugspitz Arena has a large area for hiking. There is over 300 kilometers of marked paths going to waterfalls, mountain lakes, and through amazing plant life. Climbers have a choice of difficult to light tours. Guided tours are available through reservations and are included when staying at the hotel. The area is one of the most beautiful bike regions in Austria. The in- and outdoor pools are wonderful to cool off in.
