The Romantic Hotel Post is situated in the centre of Villach´s pedestrian area, only a few minutes walk from the Congress Center. The hotel was built around 1500 and disposes of comfortable, quiet rooms with view to the garden. Location
In the northeast you can see Landskron Castle, dating back to the 16th century. It is situated on the access road to Lake Ossiach, at the feet of the Gerlitzen mountain (1,900 metres), which is a popular ski resort and can be reached by cable car. In the south of Villach the spa resort of Warmbad was already known to the Romans, who cured their rheumatisms there.
