London House Hotel - London, United Kingdom     

Loved this hotel. Comfortable beds, fantastic shower, spotlessly clean. Front desk staff was extra helpful. They have coin-slot Internet access - very useful! Only two blocks away from the underground station serving two major lines. Have seen some reviews mention small rooms. Yes, the rooms are smaller than your average US hotel. Nearly every hotel we stayed at while in the UK had very small rooms. Just keep in mind when these buildings were originally constructed. Scaffolding for improvements were up during our stay, but they kept construction to workday hours so we were never disturbed by it. Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed for 2 nites, at first we were allocated a room that was just too small for us and our volumious baggage. we talked to the desk and they advised that most rooms were small ( and our was also noisy as it was to the front) but a few were slighly larger, we were allocated a room to the rear of the hotel which was a lot better for our "caravanserai" and a lot quieter.The following morning we went down to the breakfast room in the cellar which was fairly crowded,but the breakfast offered was more than adequate ( boiled egg, cereals, toast,muffins. pastries,assorted teas and coffee) In all we found that the hotel was spotlessly clean, adequately serviced, reasonably priced for LONDON. By far the best feature was its location ,a 15 min walk to Victoria train/bus station.Also the area had a large variety of pubs and eateries to choose from. We will use this facility again.
