"Best hotel in London"

Once again I come home from a perfect stay at this hotel. I go to London around 4 times a year and have stayed in many hotels in the city but since I found this one I never need to look elsewhere. The location is wonderful with a lot of shops and resturants right outside the door, the staff is wonderful and very helpful, the decor is lovely and even if it is a busy street outside we never hear it, very quiet in the rooms. The resturant in the hotel is very good and the bar area is great with snacks and lighter fare available. I know you will not be dissapointed if you stay here, I would be happy to live there full time.

We have stayed at the Sherlock Holmes several times over the past few years and always had a great experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location, which makes it very easy to get around. This last time, my husband left his I Pod in the hotel safe and did not realize it until we were on the train heading to the airport. He called the hotel, someone immediately found it, and it was sent to him by express mail.

Nice try...but needs some work!

I really had high hopes for this hotel. The pictures online made it look really very nice, but, pictures can be decieving. Don't get me totally wrong, it was "okay", just not what I was expecting. The hoteliers are trying very hard to have a nice, boutique hotel, and they come close. Maybe it is just beginning to show some disrepair and needs a little TLC. The staff was a mix of very nice to very distant. The resturant offered a good continental breakfast that was included in the price of my room, and off the menu items were prepared well also. I really liked the location, but probably would not spend my money here again.

We spent a long weekend in London. The city is busy and crowdy and noisy but exciting! It was so lovely to come back to the hotel with its calm and clean areas. It felt really HOME'Y and all staff was so friendly and warm. I dont long for London really but the time in the hotel, the restaurant, bar and open fire area was so relaxing so one long for that! Congratulation to a succesful management of the Hotel!
