Do not stay in this hotel - scam on mini bar Posted: Thu, Jul 24 2008 I was about to write a positive review for this hotel today but then I discovered that they had charged us for a number of mini bar items that we never used. Not only where we charged for a number of mini bottles that we never drank, we were not alerted to this fact when we were checking out. When I rang the hotel they told us that there is a note on top of the fridge in the room. I still think that they should have told us that X amount was being charged to our room. The Manager was totally unhelpful and said there was nothing that could be done. Based on this, I would not recommend this hotel as obviously someone either didn't restock our mini bar correctly or removed items during our stay
Yes, two thumbs up for location, cleanliness, and modern look of the room. But man oh man, two people with two carry-on luggages, there was no square footage left! We even considered leaving the front door open just to feel a little bit less claustrophobic!
And as for the previous mention of luggage unattended, it is true. I saw luggage by the elevator that was there when we left in the afternoon, and was still there at night when we returned. So knowing this, you should probably lock up your luggage if you have valuables inside...
Otherwise, we did have 3 nights of peaceful sleep in this hotel, but probably wouldn't return because of the small square footage.
