I could actually tolerate the very small room, although I'm a big guy. The other reviews are accurate in assessing the nice lobby and excellent bar. The hotel rooms are well maintained so far as cleanliness, quality of sheets and towels. Gosh, the staff could be friendlier! So many hotels are eager to sell postage and to mail your business correspondence or post cards. Not here - you'll be told to walk down the street to the grocery store. I was scolded 2 of the 3 mornings I went downstairs for breakfast. I thought I had reservations for "full buffet" but was firmly reprimanded for helping myself to scrambled eggs instead of just muffins / fruit/ continental fare. Don't bother as the food is just not that good. Location is terrific. You will find great restaurants walking towards Earl's Court. Unbelievable Thai restaurant, a nice breakfast spot with fresh squeezed orange juice just prior to "The LIttle French restaurant" (another goodie) where the road splits in a Y. This hotel is adequate but I think I can research and do a little better next time.

This hotel is very conveniently located near prime Kensington High Street and on direct tube connection from Heathrow Airport to Earl's Court. The hotel is suitable for both, business people because of transport connectivity and tourist travelers because of proximity to so many attractions. There is a lift in the hotel, so to stay on the higher floor was not an issue for us. The double room was large, comfortable, tidy and with a road side view, so never felt we were alone in the room, which happens when you stay in rooms facing nearby buildings. They served very good breakfast, toast made to order, scrambled eggs, and hot coffee was the charmer. We have stayed in large hotels, where one has to queue for every serving, with no one to attend to your needs. Smaller hotels have less number of people staying and hence are better organized. The housekeeping staff was caring and their service was excellent. Their spacious bar and lounge was ideal place to relax and we looked forward to going back to the lovely hotel to relax in the bar before going to bed after a tiring day. The hotel is very near to Kensington Palace, Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, Kensington High Street shopping and many museums. We did not mange to visit all the attractions, so will have to come back, may be in summer, and will stay at the same hotel again.
