Undoubtedly one of the most impressive buildings in central London with its well-known facade along Cromwell Road, the Natural History Museum is well known for its dinosaur exhibits but it also includes a wide range of exhibitions, which look both back and forward. Entrance to the museum is free, though there are charges for special exhibitions.
The nearby London Underground station of Gloucester Road offers fast, efficient access to any part of the city, including all of London’s theatres and shops. The hotel’s convenient location also means the city’s many bus routes are within easy reach.
Earls Court and Olympia exhibition centres are both close by and the hotel also makes a good West End base for events at London's ExCeL exhibition centre. All of the city’s business locations are easy to get to with the hotel as a stylish and comfortable base.

By London Underground:
The nearest London Underground station is Gloucester Road, which is on the Circle line (yellow), the District line (green) and the Piccadilly line (dark blue). The station exit comes out into Gloucester Road, turn left up toward the main road that you can see at the top of Gloucester Road. This is Cromwell Road. Turn left onto Cromwell Road and cross the road close to the Sainsbury’s supermarket. Continue on down Cromwell Road to the hotel, a total distance of around 150 metres (5 minutes walk).
By Air (from London Heathrow Airport):
The Heathrow Express is a direct high-speed train that runs between all of the terminals at Heathrow Airport and London Paddington train station. Trains depart every 15 minutes and the journey time is 15 minutes. At Paddington, take the Circle line (yellow) on the London Underground to Gloucester Road station (4 stops). Alternatively, you can take the Piccadilly line (dark blue) direct from all London Heathrow terminals to Gloucester Road Station.
By Air (from London Gatwick Airport):
The Gatwick Express train leaves from Gatwick Airport to London Victoria station. Trains depart every 30 minutes and the journey time is 40 minutes. From Victoria station, take the Circle line (yellow) on the London Underground to Gloucester Road station.
By Air (from London Stansted Airport):
The Stansted Express train leaves from Stansted Airport to Liverpool Street train station. Trains depart frequently and the journey time is 30 minutes. From Liverpool Street station, take the Circle line (yellow) on the London Underground directly to Gloucester Road Station (14 stops).
By Air (from London City Airport):
A shuttle bus runs regularly between the airport and Liverpool Street train station. From Liverpool Street station, take the Circle line (yellow) on the London Underground directly to Gloucester Road Station (14 stops).
By Rail:
Almost all main rail termini are on the Circle line (yellow) of the London Underground network. From these stations, take the Circle line to Gloucester Road station. From London Waterloo station take the Jubilee line (silver) to Westminster station and change to the Circle line (yellow). Take the Circle line to Gloucester Road station.
By Rail (Paris, Brussels):
From London Waterloo International station, take the Jubilee line (silver) to Westminster station and change to the Circle line (yellow). Take the Circle line to Gloucester Road station.
By Road (from the M25/M4 motorways):
- Take the M4 motorway towards the city centre of London, following the signs for central London.
- Follow the M4 as far as the motorway goes.
- The M4 becomes the A4 and continue onto this road.
- At West Kensington station, the A4 becomes West Cromwell Road.
- Continue along West Cromwell Road and then Cromwell Road towards central London.
- The hotel is on the left-hand side immediately after the Cromwell Hospital.
