I booked one night at the Eden Plaza the night before
my stay and paid in full when I went in everything was fine. The staff were lovely ,the room (402) was ok spotlessly clean, breakfast was plentiful. The location was brilliant.
I got what I paid for and I was quite happy.
Room generally dirty in need of redecoration, polysterene tiles on ceiling,[?fire hazard].Fire Action notice did not show location of Assembly Point.Only one saucer,no milk,no spoon stained napkin on tray, when asked for milk only powder available. No towels-three requests before any appeared. However,Shower room and bed linen spotless one small tablet of soap and no shampoo.Only one bedside lamp and on that the shade was broken.Thankfully we had only booked one night.Only compensation was that we did not pay full rate for room.
Staffing satisfactory but rooms are incredibly substandard Posted: Sat, Sep 13 2008

This hotel is simply trashy. The two rooms stayed in and two others viewed were dirty. I felt sickened and depressed by the quality of hygiene in these rooms. The shower in room 409 runs in trickles and the cold and hot water did not mix properly. The bathrooms stink and I was forced to buy both block airfreshner and the aerosol can during my stay. The hotel did not have any to give. The poor quality of color TV in room 409 could be injurious to the sight.
The hotel room walls look like a badly run down kid's nursery.Half a gallon of paint could easily have covered up the mock. I am amazed that the health authorities would tolerate such low standard in a city like London.
Management cleverly cover their back with the proviso of no refund after payment. So the customer is trapped in a substandard environment, otherwise there is no way they can keep any decent human being there for more than 24 hours.
