We booked six nights into this hotel and our first clue that is was out of the way, was when the taxi driver offered to stop at other hotels for us to check into. But, we thought we had a good deal. The hotel was clean, comfy beds..rooms difficult to heat...but when we asked where the nearest tube station was..imagine how discouraged we were when we found we had to walk one mile up hill to a bus stop. Take a bus to the tube and then the tube took an hour to get into central London. Not to mention most of time there was standing room only on the tube. Heading back to the hotel after a long day of sight seeing was even worse! We were the only ones left on the tube when it hit it's final station...we were out farther then the locals! Then a bus trip and a one mile walk back to the hotel thru a deserted alley and filth! You would think the hotel would post the information that they were out pretty far or offer a shuttle to the bus every hour or so...Bottom line, we spent 3 hours a day commuting to and from the hotel. Don't stay here...pay the extra money and get into London!

"After reading about the mixed experience of people in CentralLondon hotels, I decided to be different and stay outside London. It was a good decision. This hotel is only for travellers with a car. Once you find it (which took some time), you will like it. If you have to get into London, park at a Tube station and take a train in. Otherwise the congestion charge + parking in London is EXPENSIVE! The hotel is well situated and convenient (6 miles off the M1 from North Circular). Staff is friendly.Ambience good. Highly recommended."
