Located right in the heart of Leicester Square. Beautiful rooms with great amenities. The gym is small, but offers nice modern equipment. I was particularly impressed with the service. The staff really went out of their way to assist me.

The room was small and the carpet was dingy. The bathroom was small, no bidet, the tub/shower was very narrow and overall not clean. They use soap/shampo dispensears vs. separately sealed ones. I had a non-smoking room that smelled like fresh smoke and when I called the front desk they said it must be coming from the vents...so much for non-smoking room. Being on the square is a great plus with one main downside: no quick access to taxis! On my last trip, I stayed at the Halkin and both the service and the room were 10 times better at the same price.

Returned today from a very pleasant stay at The Radisson Hampshire. We decided on the Radisson Hampshire due to the locality We went to the first preview showing, after the Premier ,of Mamma Mia - The Movie. At the Odeon. Leicester Square There were very few negatives about this Hotel and I will list them first: Our room wasn't ready until nearly 5pm Toilet roll holder was coming off the wall Thick dust under coffee table Positives: Large King Suite with a large settee and two chairs Nice quality bedding & Bed was very comfortablel Room Very Clean [apart from the coffee table] Large Bathroom with bath, shower over & glass panel Shower cubicle with 3 body jets Toilet Cubicle and you could close the door! Lovely white towels/Dressing gown and Slippers Nice Shampoo & Body Wash fixed beside the Bath Also in shower cubicle and beside double sinks When we got back at 10:30pm The bed had been turned down ,clean towels in the bathroom, shower and bath cleaned! Large Opening window that looked over Leicester Square which when closed kept out any noise Breakfast was very expensive at ?21 per person HOWEVER................. The desk clerk, J R kindly apologised by giving us a free breakfast each due to us having to wait for 3 hours for our room to be ready! Also endless coffee and tea while we waited, which i thought was a nice gesture actually.... In fact all the staff were very pleasant, polite, helpful and accommodating Would I stay here again? Yes!!! At the drop of a hat. It is now my favourite hotel in London
