4This is a great place to stay in a central location, Seven Dials. It is walking distance to Covent Garden, Leicester Square, the British Museum, Picadilly and Victoria Embankment to name just a few! For the first time in London I didn't take public transport anywhere! Soho with great restaurants and Oxford Street or Long Acre with great shopping are right there! Seven Dials neighbourhood is charming and intimate, and in the heart of the Theater District.
The hotel is lovely. We upgraded to a suite with 2 small rooms. We were charmed with the view of London from our windows, including one of the Cambridge Theater accross the square. The staff were friendly and attentive, every request was dealt with quickly and cheerfully. We did not use the restaurant because there were so many in the area, but the nght I had room service it was very good.
The only negative was the tired décor. Our carpet was badly a and the furnishings wes shabb, but the bedding was lovely and the king bed comfortable. Also the bathroom was very nice. w
