"Outstanding Weekend Retreat"

My wife and I went there for a long weekend without kids. We had seen the reviews on this site and visited the hotel's web-site: it was much better than we had expected. The quality of the accomodation was just superb. We stayed in the "Veronica Suite" which is the largest of the Santini's 9 rooms and were not disappointed. Breakfast was excellent. In terms of location couldn't be better: just up the road from the Charles bridge and down the road from the Castle, so everywhere is walkable ( including some of the city's best restaurants: e.g. Kampa Park and Cowboys, both definitely worth a try). We have stayed in many hotels around the world, including many expensive 5 star ones, but this is certainly one of the nicest.

Loved the situation... hated the hotel!

Awful! Smallest room in my whole life for a lot of $$$. Reception was like a kitchen... Everything old. I won't return in my whole life.

stayed here with my partner and 3 children; the youngest only 2. shared a family room which was clean and tidy and plenty big enough with en suit . cornflakes full breakfast toast tea and juice kept us going most of the day. great location and reasonable price. thanks

Great Location

Chose the hotel because of its proximity to Paddington Station (Heathrow Express). and because the prices were pretty reasonable given some of the other quotes I got. The staff were helpful in giving me directions and showing me where the tube was. Rooms were on the small size but this is Central London and were alot bigger than some hotels in Tokyo and Hong Kong. However, it was a great location and close to the tube station as well as a major route for buses. Overall, it was good value compared to what I would pay at some of the other hotels which really charge the earth.
