4This was my second stay at this hotel, and both times at an Executive room.
The hotel is wonderfully located very close to a metro station, and across the street from Harvey Nichols, and a 5 minute walk from Harrods. As far as location is concerened, it gets 5/5.
Check in was friendly and fast (actually, I arrived at around 11:30am, and was given my room immediately, although I was very early). The concierge service is always there to help, and has always been very good to answer all my questions regarding transportation and other things. Overall, the staff is very polite and efficient. 5/5.
The room is very clean, although a tad "tired" (especially if you look up close at some of the furniture and the paint job around the windows). The bed is gloriously comfortable. The bathroom has both a walk in shower and a bathtub. Not too many luxury amenities though. In my opinion, the rooms are due for a bit of a "refresher". Overall the room gets a 4/5.
The view is incredible, but I guess this depends where your rooom is. Mine had a view of the London Eye and the Big Ben! 5/5 for the view!
The rate I paid was a special AAA rate, but at a total of 300UKP / night, the price value ratio, even for London is at around 3,5/5.
Overall, a good choice while in London, but not much above a "Sheraton".
