Good Hotel

Stayed here for 3 nights on our first trip to London. Great location, with a 5 minute walk from the Victoria tube station. No frills, but clean. The quad-room was a good size for a family. Wireless internet access was free and reliable (on the first floor). No elevator. No air conditioning. We requested a fan but were told there was only 3 fans for the hotel and they were all being used. Friendly staff. Breakfast and service was good, but scrambled eggs and bacon were a little wierd if you are from U.S.

Stay of 2 nights 4th to 6th March 2008 Location: 4 minutes walk from Victoria Train Station Welcome: Friendly, gave me good advice for nearby restaurants Environnement: Nice: it is the beginning of Belgrave Road, quite safe. Restaurants around (Boisdale, Olivo, same road or pubs and fish and chips further down, all at 5 minutes walk) Price: reasonnable for London in this area: 95? per night, with cancellation possible at 48h notice (I booked on their website) Room: Non smoker, quiet: overlooking the back: no noise at all from the outside, and none from the inside. The room was a double one, sufficiently wide (2 armchairs, cupboard with many hangers, a safe, kettle for tea and coffee, TV) Bathroom: Plenty room, large shower, obviously new, Cleanliness: it was spotless, towels changed everyday. Breakfast: English traditional: Served at the place: orange juice, cereals, eggs, bacon, sausage and tomato. Conclusion: I went there for my work, and I will go back to this place: it is by far the best of the hotels I have tried in this category.

Basic room for London...no lift, adequate bathroom. Nice front desk staff although they seemed fake and forced. Very clean room and bathroom...nice little balcony garden that over looked the street--perhaps a bit overpriced @ $200 US dollars per night. Was convenient to the train station.
