Desayuno aceptable aunque repetitivo.
I'm sure that this hotel has better rooms available at a higher price. Unfortunately, for £42 per night, this is about what one can expect these days in London.
The neighbourhood is safe and charming. Aside from that, when I came to my room, a caulking gun was laying on the floor in front of the door. The room was minimally furnished, with a horrible smell from the plumbing and/or paint. The furniture was unfinished and unattractive, the remote control for the television was nowhere to be found and the telephone was unplugged and shoved in a drawer.
But... for London in 2007, when your objective is not to stay in the room anyway, you can't beat £42 for a room with a shower and toilet en suite. Anywhere else, this room would sensibly be worth about £10-15 with breakfast inclusive.
If travelling alone, I would stay there again. I would not bring my wife to this hotel unless I was certain that I was getting a much better room.
As we were looking for some cheap hotel in london, we found king solomon hotel a quite nice place to stay according to its price. however, our room was not as good as expected, we had a window leaning to the hallway (which we had to cover with a blanket), and the room was quite noisy. plus, it was a bit farther to undergournd than said in the web.
with all, this hotel is a nice place to stay if you don't expect quite much about it, and its relationship price/quality is good.
