I was looking for a budget and comfortable London hotel so I made a reservation from King Solomon Hotel. It was as I wanted. The hotel provided me clean sheets, warm shower and good location. It has a well connection to the city centre and Heathrow. Hotel staff could be more friendly. Good value for the price, happy stay!
Rooms were at very poor cleanliness. No protections on bed.
Payment at my arrival.
Nothing to hang a towels in "bathroom". Nothing to recieve ma tooth brushes.
Nothing to place my dresses. I let them all the time in my travel bag.
Curtains was shorter than the window, probably one was missing. The others were limit to fall down....
Very very poor quality for Breakfast. No real choice. Bargain product proposed in cardboard boxes. No presentation. We had only once. The others we went out this "hotel".
The room smelt and was dusty. The hairy plughole fitting from the sink had been removed and left on the bathroom mirror light. The television was perched precariously on a wall-mounted stand. When we arrived the bedspread was stained and a pillow case and sheet were dirty , we asked for replacements, the bed was re-made with the same dirty bedclothes. When we discovered the dirty bedclothes were still on the bed and phoned reception to complain, a member of staff brought up another bedspread and pillow case. He changed the pillow case and left the spread for us to change. We examined the second bedspread after he had left and it was dirtier than the first. I was distinctly unimpressed with the cheap, nasty squash served at breakfast - how much does a carton of fruit juice cost? I've stayed in much nicer hostels for less money.
